Ginny and Georgia’s Brianne Howey Welcomes Baby No. 2 With Husband Matt Ziering

Ginny & Georgia’s Brianne Howey and husband Matt Ziering have officially become a family of four.

Alongside the message, Howey posted a selfie of her smiling as the little one — who sported a floral-printed outfit — lay on her chest.

Howey previously announced her pregnancy in May, sharing a mirror selfie of the actress wearing a strapless yellow gown while cradling her bump.

“Here we grow again 💛,” she wrote via Instagram at the time. “Happy Mother’s Day!”

Howey and Ziering first crossed paths in 2015 while at a bar with friends. After five years together, the pair got engaged and planned to tie the knot in 2020. Howey and Ziering had to postpone their ceremony until the following year due to the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.

The couple became parents when they welcomed their first child, a daughter, in 2023. At the time, Howey shared a photo of her smiling in the hospital with the newborn on her chest.

“My whole world just got a whole lot sweeter. And smaller. Welcome my little love 💛,” Howey wrote via Instagram in 2023.

Last month, Howey opened up to Us about how her relationship with her husband has evolved over time.

“The first five years we were together, we weren’t married, we didn’t have a child, we didn’t have a dog yet,” she told Us. “I think it’s a really beautiful thing to continue to grow individually, but also together.”

Howey shared that her bond with Ziering has only deepened since becoming parents. “Watching him step into all of these roles of husband and dad makes you appreciate each other more, because you don’t always know what the future holds,” Howey said. “Getting to watch it unravel in the moment and stay present and grateful for it all has been such a beautiful, reassuring, but also surprising journey to be on. I’m so grateful.”

Howey also noted that it’s “never lost on [her]” that her husband is able to travel with her, especially now that they have a daughter, and that it “means so much.”

“I feel like when I am away working, I’m able to rely on our partnership and our teamwork, and I’m able to focus on work because I know he’s there, doing all the things that I’m not able to do in those moments, whether it’s bathtime, bedtime or drop off,” she said.

Brianne Is Pregnant, Expecting Baby No. 2 with Husband Matt Ziering

Brianne Howey and Matt Ziering are celebrating Mother’s Day with a big announcement!

The Ginny & Georgia star shared that she and her husband of nearly five years are expecting their second baby on Sunday, May 10.

“Here we grow again💛,” Howey wrote on Instagram alongside a photo of herself cradling her growing bump in the mirror while wearing a yellow strapless dress. “Happy Mother’s Day!”

In the comments, a few of Howey’s Ginny & Georgia costars congratulated her on the newest addition to her family.

“Wow congrats!!!!!” Chelsea Clark wrote, after which Antonia Gentry left a few emojis under the post: “🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹.”

“Baby two looks good on you 💛,” Ginny & Georgia showrunner Debra J. Fisher wrote.

Howey’s big news comes nearly a year after the actress, who also shares a 2-year-old daughter with Ziering, revealed how becoming a mom helped her better understand her character in the Netflix comedy-drama.

“Prior to having a child, of course, I thought many of the Georgia-isms were absolutely insane and unhinged and over the top, and why is she taking up so much space?” she told PEOPLE in June 2025. “Now that I have a child, I am so obsessed with her that I understand why Georgia is so obsessed with Ginny, and my heart only got bigger and I just have even more respect for all the moms out there.”

She also made the “risky” decision to use her real-life birth story in one of the scenes for her 2025 Netflix movie Kinda Pregnant.

“Amy [Schumer] called me the night before and said, ‘Why is nobody talking about their birth stories?’ So that’s what we did,” Howey remembered in a June interview with DC Film Girl. “Then the next day, we went to set and that’s my real birth story, actually.”

“So it was a really intimate, kind of in the moment felt a little bit risky, but very safe at the same time because it was just me and Amy,” she continued. “And I’m so grateful to her for wanting to take a swing and really go big with that scene.”

A fourth season of Ginny & Georgia is on the way, although Netflix has not announced a premiere date yet.
